Ortodontinių danties judesių biomechanika = Biomechanics of tooth movement
Abstract
Orthodontic treatment success mostly depends on treatment plan and correct application of biomechanical force system. The moment force ratio of the force system generated by the orthodontic device and acting on the tooth to the centre of resistance determines the type of orthodontic tooth movement expressed. The identification of the exact location of the centre of resistance is important in order to determine the equivalent force system and to have control of tooth movement.
